The New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos 16-3 in a game where Tom Brady threw for 188 yards, 0 touchdowns, and the Patriots cranked out 137 yards on the ground. 10 of New England's 16 points came off Broncos turnovers.
The game started out poorly for the Broncos. After a great defensive series forcing a 3 and out, punt returner Jordan Norwood muffed the punt, and the Pats capitalized with a field goal. The second big mistake was a Trevor Siemian interception in the Red Zone that running back LeGarrette Blount turned into a touchdown.
The Broncos gave up their wild card spot after the Miami Dolphins defeated the New York Jets on Saturday night. The Oakland Raiders are back at the top of the AFC West after they beat the Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Tennessee Titans.
