I've never done this before, but I'd love to get your jersey after the game... I want to put it in my office Prior to the Steelers' Week 7 matchup with the Patriots last week, Ben Roethlisberger asked an unusual favor of Tom Brady. After competing against him on various occasions since his rookie year in 2004, Big Ben asked the Patriots' quarterback for one of his jerseys, the ultimate compliment between two of the best quarterbacks of this era. Despite the dislike that exists between the two franchises, it's clear that Roethlisberger and Brady have a deep respect for one another. Last week, Roethlisberger, who missed last Sunday's game with a torn meniscus, called Brady the best quarterback in the game today. “It’s going to kill me not to be able to go against [Tom Brady] Sunday," Roethlisberger said. "I’ve said many times I think he’s one of the best quarterbacks of all time and the best one going right now. You know me. I love to battle the best.” The Steelers are in first place in the AFC North heading into their bye week! Take a second to sign up for our FREE Steelers newsletter! Brady returned the favor, praising Big Ben for his toughness and competitive drive. “He’s one of the toughest guys in the league,” Brady said of Big Ben on his radio show on WEEI in Boston. “He’s just a stud, just an incredible player. He’s one of the best quarterbacks I’ve ever played against.”
